Cardinal partners with Perfect Performance in McLean to offer profession and age appropriate injury prevention, speed, strength and agility training. Athletes at all ages require off field training to ensure safe and propert technique to allow them to peform better and with more confidence on the field. Please visit the perfect performance website at to learn more about their options. Below is an example of the training that was offered last fall. This will be updated with spring, fall and winter opportunities.

PERFORMANCE TRAINING (offered by Perfect Performance)

The JV Speed & Strength Academy is a 60 minute training that develops the overall athleticism of our middle school (6th-8th grade) athletes.  The session is divided into 3 segments: 

  1. Foam roll/mobility/dynamic warmup
  2. Strength training focused on core stability and ACL injury prevention
  3. Speed, footwork, and agility

Sean Doyle is the Director of Sports Performance at PP and he leads the Speed & Strength Academy program.  He holds a Masters In Strength & Conditioning from Salisbury University where he was the strength & conditioning coach for men’s & women’s lacrosse teams. 

Your athlete can start the program in the summer or in the fall.  A lot of girls are starting now to prepare for tryouts.

Monday-Thursday:   11:00am-12:00pm AND 6:00pm-7:00pm
Friday:                        11:00am-12:00pm

Fall Schedule (begins 9/6/16)
Monday-Thursday:   5:00pm-6:00pm AND 7:00pm-9:00pm
Friday:                        5:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday                    9:00am-10:00am
